Born in London and raised in in rural Hampshire, Sarah graduated with a degree in Professional Broadcasting in 2001 and since then has collaborated on a plethora of films, videos and art projects. Her experience ranges from working in UK television production companies to forming SeaBuzzard creative partnership in 2005 which produced tour documentaries for bands and comedians, EPKs, multi-camera shoots for live concerts and visual projections at venues and on festival stages. Since 2008 Sarah has worked as an independent filmmaker and DOP Camerawomen producing mainly humanitarian stories for television broadcasters, NGOs, charities and grass root organisations. Her passion has led her to travel extensively across Africa and the Middle East. She was based in Cairo for three years where she experienced revolution first hand and picked up knowledge of the Arabic language. In 2014 Sarah co-founded Clarke Romero with Christina Everington in Dubai. Clarke is fascinated by dogma, ethnic diversity and traditional cultural practices of the world. She has DJ’d in several countries, loves hula-hooping, horse riding, playing capoeira and eating green vegetables!

Christina, or Nina known to her friends, started her filming career in 2011 in London. With many years behind her in creative art making, studying at both the City and Guilds of London Art School and Leeds University, it became a natural progression to translate her meticulous eye to detail into filmmaking. With a strong passion for travel her path to Dubai with fellow partner in crime, Sarah Clarke, initiated in 2013 and Clarke Romero was soon born. 'Dubai has provided me with an array of wonderful people to constantly meet and to work alongside. I consider myself extremely fortunate, as I have been blessed to absolutely love the job that I do.'
